MSA Foundation & Advanced

Our rigorous classes and workshops form a complete and  comprehensive alternative to full-time drama school

This is an intensive set of workshops that uses our unique take on what is needed to be an actor on both screen and stage

Content

Provides students aged 18 and over with a solid acting technique. Students work on Acting Techniques and Style, Voice, Physicality, Script/Scene Analysis, Rehearsal and Performance Techniques, Television Scene Study, Film Scene Study, Stage Scene Study, Audition Techniques, On Camera Audition Techniques, Career Planning and Actors in Performance Practice 

Progression

Completion of all workshops at this level is necessary to progress further at MSA

When

This is an intensive part-time set of weekly workshops run over two years in six terms, available in the evening or daytime:

Daytime workshops

11:30am - 4pm at the MSA building in Manchester City Centre

Evening workshops

5pm - 9:30pm at the MSA building in Manchester City Centre

Please note that our evening workshops are in high demand

Cost

The cost of each four-hour class is £40.00, paid as £160.00 every four weeks in advance. Students undertaking this course can also participate in all additional classes at the school, as and when they are available. 
 

All additional classes, workshops, "in conversation" sessions and producer, director, casting director and agent meets are absolutely FREE to MSA students.
